So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return [to God], that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord.

Anything that draws you away from God is NOT from God. The devil will do whatever he can to keep you away from Gods Presence.
Psalm 16: 11 Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore
When you are heavy laden and do not know which way to turn, run to the Lord. He knows exactly how you should handle your difficulties and will help you to overcome them.
The moment you turn to Him you will feel the effects of the heat begin to subside – refreshing will flood your soul and great peace will be yours. The presence of the Lord does wonders for your life; it calms, delivers and strengthens your soul. It will also heal your body from anxiety and fear.
He promised that He would never leave nor forsake you; so do not let your heart be taken captive by the enemy.
There is nothing like a time of refreshing in the Presence of the Lord; turn around and run to Him when the heat is on.
