Weapon of Warfare

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

2 Corinthians 10:3-5
The Word of God is our weapon.  It transforms our mind to think in the way that God thinks.  He has already given us the victory.  We just can’t see God’s answers.  The Word of God allows us to place our faith in what He has done for us.  His Word builds confidence and releases peace into our life.  We do not war in the flesh.  We have our warfare in the land of the unseen.  The Spirit.  In the Spirit, we claim our existence and our reality.  Not in the flesh or “seen” world.  Consider a teenager like David.  In the seen world, he was not strong enough to defeat a giant.  In the Spirit, he was stronger then an army of giants.  David had the victory even before the fight.  Why?  Because he did not fight with his flesh, he fought with his faith.  He knew who his God was.  Today you might be facing a great battle.  Dive into the scriptures and find out what God says about your issue.  Grab a scripture that you can claim by faith for victory in your life.  Watch how God shows you His faithfulness.  Someone once said that this faith stuff does not work.  I would rather die proving God’s Word real in my life then to live without faith in God.  You are going to have arguments.  People will try to pull you into their seen world.  They will tell you that there is no hope and you are not going to make it.  Listen to my words very carefully.  Don’t allow the deception of the devil to cause you to lay down your weapons.  God’s Word is your weapon.  It will change your vision.  You will begin to see things the way God sees them.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for this mighty weapon.  Your Word.  I will store it in my heart everyday so I can grow in it.  Holy Spirit, teach me.  Place a hunger and a desire to know more and more.  In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
Now go do great things for God
