My brethren, pay not servile regard to people [show no prejudice, no partiality]. Do not [attempt to] hold [and] practice the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ [the Lord] of glory [together with snobbery]!

Prejudice, if practiced is straight from the pit of hell. It is ungodly, and brings bondage into your life and the lives of others; it causes despondency, discouragement and failure. We see prejudice among religion, race, gender, almost anything and everything. Whatever it is, it is not from God.

We are to see people through the eyes of Jesus, and hold them in the same esteem as He does. He commands us in His Word to love one another, not to dominate one another. But man likes to set up his own rules and conditions by which he will love. Jesus holds no prejudice in His heart, and He does not intimidate or manipulate anybody.

The Body of Christ is not a clique. We are one Body, and each one is just as important as the other, no matter what your age, colour, nationality or gender – we are all the same in Christ Jesus. Search your heart and leave no room for discrimination. Help and support anyone going through those problems and encourage them to know who they are in Christ.

To live free in Jesus is to live free of prejudice.
