“Consider well the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established and ordered aright. Turn not aside to the right hand or to the left; remove your foot from evil.” –Proverbs 4:26-27
Compromise will lead you away from the Presence of the Lord and give your conscience many troubles. If you ignore your better judgment and submit to walking in the wrong direction, you will pay the painful price.
The Lord wants you to walk on the straight and narrow path (with Him), trusting Him all the way. This certainly is the harder path; it will take far more discipline and determination than walking the easy wide road that leads to destruction.
Think about your path, consider it well and then establish the way you are going to walk. Make sure you are on the right path. Do not be distracted by what is going on when you think about the right and left side of the path. Fix your gaze and your feet to walk straight ahead without any wandering. God wants you walking on His path; He is a jealous God and will not share you with another.
God’s path is harder but He is with you, and it leads to bountiful blessings.
