So be patient, brethren [as you wait] till the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits expectantly for the precious harvest from the land. [See how] he keeps up his patient [vigil] over it until it receives the early and late rains. So you also must be patient. Establish your hearts [strengthen and confirm them in the final certainty] for the coming of the Lord is near.

Jesus is coming back soon. What are you going to do until He shows up? He tells us to keep occupied until He comes. Use up the time effectively and do not waste it.

    * Time to get stronger and draw closer to Him.

    * Time to get your life in order.

    * Time to work for God.

    * Time to touch broken lives with the love of God.

    * Time to enjoy the victory in Him.

To establish your heart in the things of God is of the utmost importance. Reading and meditating on the Word of God will keep your heart and mind fixed on God. Worshipping will keep your spirit sensitive to His voice, serving God will keep your attitude and priorities in order.

There is no time like the present to expect the Lord to return.

Until He comes we must love the Lord with all of our hearts and minds and love one another as He commanded.
