And Jesus increased in wisdom (in broad and full understanding) and in stature and years, and in favor with God and man.

LUKE 2:52

I used to think that Jesus was born with all the knowledge that He had. No, this Scripture explains that as He grew in years, He increased in wisdom and favor with God and man too.

So many people who express themselves as spiritual and mature in God are confused and receive no respect from anyone around them. Their lives are a mess and they do not often have a kind word to say about anyone.

Living close to God increases your level of wisdom and helps you to make the right decisions. Knowing God makes you more pleasant to be around. Knowing God keeps your life in order.

Jesus was found in the temple daily listening to the teachers meditating and studying God’s Word. He did not get more confused but more wise.

You may have a good idea but after being in the presence of the Lord your good idea will change to God’s idea. It may be along the same lines but far more powerful and effective when He is finished with it.

Spending time in the presence of God will cause your life to prosper and others to be drawn to you.
