She opens her hand to the poor, yes; she reaches out her filled hands to the needy [whether in body, mind, or spirit].

Our hands are filled with abundance to share with others.

Everyday there is opportunity to touch the life of another. Going about your daily chores causes you to bump into folks who are lost, hungry and hurting. What are you as children of God going to do about it?

At Church, there are many ministries touching the lives of the destitute and sick. You may be thinking: “What can I do?” You certainly do not have to take on a huge responsibility, but can start by sharing with the lady behind the counter or giving a sandwich to the hungry. You may be able to help someone else learn to read, and write. You may even be called to pray for those in the hospital, who have no family or friends to pray for them.

You can contribute in some way or another. If you suffer from insecurities, this will be the perfect opportunity to prove God’s faithfulness in your life.

You have the ability in the name of Jesus – that is what He promised you. All you need to do is to be obedient, pray and the Lord will open the doors for you to give, as it is written in Mark 16:15-20. Don’t be afraid to step out in faith and serve the Lord – start now!
