And we earnestly beseech you, brethren, admonish (warn and seriously advise) those who are out of line [the loafers, the disorderly, and the unruly]; encourage the timid and fainthearted, help and give your support to the weak souls, [and] be very patient with everybody [always keeping your temper].

How long have you been waiting to do something for God? It was probably last year that you made those promises.

The Scripture is very strong here and a good one to get you to line up. The sooner that you hook into the life that God has for you outside of your daily routine, the better. You will go forward and begin to prosper. Wishful thoughts and good intentions never bear any fruit.

If you are a mature Christian and just loafing away, I hope that this challenge will wake you up. You are not being fair to the rest of the Body and we are all sadly lacking without your gift. Notwithstanding you are not giving much to God and your seed is drying up and not bearing any fruit.

If you are a weak Christian then get hooked into God and His plans for your life, they will only strengthen you. You will begin to rise up stronger every day and the kingdom will be blessed for your obedience.

We should not be so busy that we have no time to sit at Jesus’ feet – a good healthy balance of sitting and serving is the way to go.
