For I will [fully] satisfy the weary soul, and I will replenish every languishing and sorrowful person.jEREMIAH 31:35
There are many weary and tired people in this world. Life is a constant rush: from one appointment to the next, taking children between school and sports, maintaining the home, balancing and juggling far too many things all at once.
Amidst this scurry, you get weary, fatigued and if you are not careful you run out of spiritual steam too. Even though life will never free you from seasons of fatigue, your spirit can always be awake and alive to God. He is the only One that can reinvigorate you, spirit, mind and body, with His resurrection power.
Lady, be sensitive about all the things that you commit yourself to. It is in order for you to say no occasionally, and then take the time to get your house in order. Business does not always mean fruitfulness.
Prioritize your responsibilities; slow down your frantic pace and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Take a break and don’t feel condemned for doing so – you need to run a marathon, not the hundred-yard dash.
Set aside a little time for yourself, go ahead and smell the roses. Life is too short for you to let it rush by.
