Learn to sense what is vital, and approve and prize what is excellent and of real value [recognizing the highest and the best, and distinguishing the moral differences], and that you may be untainted and pure and unerring and blameless [so that with hearts sincere and certain and unsullied, you may approach] the day of Christ [not stumbling nor causing others to stumble].

We need to be aware that there is a way of doing things, and then there is an excellent way of doing things. God has given us the means to be excellent in all that we do for Him. He has provided wisdom, understanding and knowledge, he has also said that once we are born-again, we have the mind of Christ. When you live for God, you live for the best that there is; there is no other that can match His excellence.

When you show love to the unloved, overdo it. When you reach out to the hungry, go over the top and be a tremendous blessing.  If God gave His prized possession, we can certainly do better than we do. With His unfailing inside of us, we have the power to help others rise above their broken lives.

Make sure that you are not causing others to stumble but that you are the one helping to pick them up. Keep your life out of trouble and you will be a tremendous testimony to the world. Check your heart and your motives regularly run from temptations. You have the power to walk free from them all.

To get more out of life, put your best quality into it.
